Front muffler - Laguna RXE

Can anyone help with info. My '96 Laguna RXE needs a new front muffler, local mufffler places (Brisbane) cant supply and enquiries thru `French Car Care' reveal that there are none in AUS, they suggest that it will have to be imported for big $$$. The local muffler shops dont know of anyone who makes a non-genuine replacement.

Suggest you try David Cavanagh. He knows most things Renault and may have a contact.
You will find him in the Peugot Forum (he has just bought a MI-16), Good Luck

Hi,

why don't you just get a universal fitted? Stuff paying a shitload of money for a muffler just because it comes in Renault pakaging. I've always had universals fit on all cars I've had (except Citroens GS and DS, but hey, you'd expect them to be 'different').
