gibgib, does the guy who RE-SETUP the forum know what was wrong with the forum?

He gave me some pointers but I managed to fix it by trial & error.
It was a bit of a mess but luckily everything falls into place when the file paths are re-entered. The bulletin board scans for the topics & posts.
I've backed it all up this time so there shouldn't be anymore lost posts
