The plan is to fit a VL Commodore alloy radiator and an external trans oil cooler. Auto is the original ZF3HP20.
Two questions:
1. Should the separate oil cooler be mounted as low as possible so the oil will flow better to/from the transmission?
2. Given that my driveway is on an angle and at night my 504 is parked with the front higher than the rear, do I need to install a one way valve onto one of the oil hoses to prevent all the oil in the cooler draining back into the transmission and overfilling it?
