Been a long year since buying the 205 gti lemon.

Paid too much for a massive list of mechanical and cosmetic problems.

It's not finished, but I now have it registered.

Aside from having tried to restore the car on 1st and 2nd year apprentice wages and working a 2nd job just to afford to buy parts,
I have successfully saved a GTI from the scrap heap.

HUGE shout out to Pugwreck for all their help with parts and knowledge.

The list continues to:
- rear seats out
- battery to boot
- dkz head with work on dfz bottom end
- weber 45 setup
- full engine bay clean up
- quick shift kit
- maybe build a new dash (depends on motivation)

Also would like to thank this forum.
Amazing stuff.

Thanks guys.

Do you still use the original Jetronic ECU and dizzy management? How does it work?
