It's official, Adrian Newey resigns from Red Bull. Seems like there are plenty of under currents and power plays at Red Bull.

Plenty of rumours about where Newey will go next. Mr Stroll is rumoured to have ofered him eye watering money to go the Aston. Ferrari has also been chasing his services. I assume he will be required to take gardening leave if he desides to continue in F1.

 
Mr Newey has been able to negotiate his departure without having to serve gardening leave. He will leave Red Bull in the first quarter of 2025. Given that he has managed to negotiate away the gardening leave, I think it is unlikely retire although he is 65 years of age.
 
Although That does effectively mean he won't be able to help a rival team that he joins in 2025 until at least mid season!
