Four different teams in the first starting positions and Verstappen nowhere in sight (driveshaft)and Perex on pole, but no doubt he will come through from 15th spot.

Lando 19th, Piastri 9th

Hamilton (8) struggling more than Russel (4)

Alpine got both cars in the top 10.

Looks like HAAS has improved into/towards the midfield 11 & 13

Definitely worth watching this race. With Verstappen and Norris back in the field due to mechanical or "wall" damage, and LeClerc also back 10 places due to component change penalty (silly), and Fernando/Stroll way up front (the Astons were not a flash in the pan in Bahrain), this race should see lots of action.

Is that an age concession?

I remember there was a time when I may have driven home from North Coast to Brisbane after midnight to watch a race at 2 or 3 am. Now a replay will suffice. Mine is age concession.

Yeah, 0100 (WA) doesn't exist any more for me. If I did watch the start, I know I would have to watch the last 90% of the race on replay anyway.

Piastri qualified 9th but starts 8th due to Leclerc penalty and Alonso will be promoted to the front row. Leclerc will now start from 12th spot on the grid.
