Hi everyone.
This is my first post so hope I have all right details.

I have a 2008 Peugeot expert 2.0 HDI.
RHK engine code.
Engine Not starting,cranks fine.
No fuel pressure.
Keys are recognised.
Bsi and Ecu matched.
Cam and crank synchronised.

I am thinking the fault is with the BSM.
Is it possible someone has got a wiring diagram for the BSM.it's L05-00
It looks like one Relay may not be getting a supply to the relay coil. So not closing the contacts to allow fuel pump to run.

Possibly more than one relay.
I am struggling to find where the relays receive there switching current from.
Is it 12v or a ground supply.

My BSM is completely dry.immaculate condition.Lots of fault codes.
Any assistance greatly received.

Thanks

Unable to upload pics.so will list
PO686-
Power relay short to earth or open circuit.
P1169-
injector voltage converter more than 90volts or less than 40 volts.
PO562-
battery too low.
PO1352-
Pre post heating relay.
PO113-
Air temp signal.
P1197-
injector harness,injector power stage.
P1694-
Remotely controlled ECU wakeup engine speed plausibility.

B9B8-re supply relay (power latch)short circuit to -

Hope this helps.
I have cut open the fuel pump relay in the BSM as it sounded like it was shorting.
It does not receive any voltage across the coil to close the contacts.
But when relay contacts pushed together by hand I can here fuel pump working.

Also now it only cranks over on key for approximately 3 seconds then switches itself off.

Any assistance greatly appreciated

They are all shorts to earth or no voltage. The first and last in the list refer to the power relay. The relay latch has no power.

It looks like a relay failure but I am not up on your unit. Have you checked the maxi fuses as well? There are some here with BSM experience so hopefully someone will know.

Hi seasink
Thanks for assistance.Yes I have checked maxi fuses all test ok and fuses and contacts are all in good clean condition.

With my test light lead I applied an earth to the underside of a relay coil in the BSM it energised and all the relays latched ok and I got voltage to fuse 5 and 10 which feed the fuel pump plus other bits.I could hear pump working.

So it looks like there is no earth to relays when trying to start.

So i guess my next stage is to try locate where the relays obtain there earth, I am guessing the main Ecu?

Does the car fire if you spray into the intake with start you bastard or equivalent?
it could be the hi press fuel pump ,or blank off the pipe over from EGR and see if this does anything,
Had a fiat scudo (same van minus badges ) a while back that had no fuel pressure ,took off hi press pump to find the camshaft had snapped off at the rear of the pump ,pump not turning no fuel pressure .

Hi mark.
I did spray a bit of easy start.never made much difference.
Brief history.before I owned.
Van broke down and local garage diagnosed high pressure fuel pump.
So fitted genuine brand new pump.
Still no start.

Owner then got tired spending cash on it.
Then I bought as non runner.
I will try blanking EGR pipe.

There is no voltage on fuel pump supply fuse 5 in BSM.

So jumpered temp 12v supply from another fuse.pump can be heard running.
It's a Bastard to bleed.even without the Non start issue

May have to get a tow start.
Starter gets red hot cranking.

There is a trickle of diesel on 2 injectors but mainly small bubbles.
Nothing on other 2 injectors

If it was just fuel would have thought it would try to fire with easy start while having it cranked.did you have someone crank while you sprayed.
As valve timing been checked.
Seems odd if a workshop thought fuel pump.
You may want to pull out the pump and check all is correct from cam
There is a locator between cam an pump ?

Hi can you please tell me were the pump relay is . I have a 2009 expert 2.0 hdi . I have looked everywhere but can't seem to find it 😕

does the Expert have the in tank fuel pump?, can it be heard running when key in ignition? Check the BSM (engine bay fuse box) for melted connector wiring or corrosion (pink wire on Citroen's so should be the same), check 12v at pump.

if you replaced filter etc, you need to get the pump pressurising the fuel rail 1st before attempting a start, easy turn key on /off a dozen times
