It's a Renault, but is surely interesting to all...

Finally - an electric car with style, made in Canada. Check this out, you can choose your colour etc. and just plug it in. If you must have an electric car, this is the one.

wow, $25,000 canadian, must be 40-50K aus, could buy a citroen C3 for half that, and 20 years petrol with the change.
Wonder where they source the dauphines ????

$1 Canadian is equivalent to $1.2AUS so that makes it about $30,000. Dauphines outsold VW in the States and Canada in 1959/1960 before people found they self destructed, so there would be plenty of stock to pick from. Besides it looks a cool car in all the bright colours.

It just seems to be reviving the Henny Kilo-Watt Electric Dauphines that were built in the States by the Eureka Vacuum Cleaner company in the 1960's. I notice there is no mention about acceleration times, or things like heaters and demisters though. Still it looks an interesting concept!

No, the heating system is mentioned there somewhere....they wouldn't have a hope in hell of flogging the things in Canada without it...or maybe they just supply thermal undies in the package.
