Looking for a Bosch distributor to suit an R16 Cross Flow engine? Thx John.

These old things can be fully repaired, including replacing the capsule. Some parts may be difficult to find, but you will eventually. Or maybe you're trying to find a spare to make a good one from two bad ones?

Main problem will be bushes. It causes the shaft to run eccentrically so giving variable timing between cylinders

Main problem is a worn out shaft with the square-ish sectors worn unevenly. Try to adjust the gap and dwell on that. Can be made too but it's not easy. Little wonder Hall effect sensors have become so popular.

Bush wear is extremely easy to diagnose using a dwell meter.
