Anyone out there have the measurements of the Peugeot tool required to rotate the rear disc piston [504]?
I made one years ago, loaned it out to a friend years ago, funny, it was never returned. [Lesson * 2]
The tool allowed for the correct amount to rotate piston [45 deg] without guesswork.
I think the tool dimensions were shown in a 504 manual?

I've always just used a largish screwdriver of the right size. Can slip a bit but works well.

Thanks Peter,
I knew someone out there would be brandishing their large screwdriver.
Oh, I can't get the charcoal for my forge so it rules out fettling one .
:D

There is a bit of leeway in the 45 degrees, so special tool not that necessary..

In the 1980s, I found that the perfect width was my points file, but I couldn't always put that much pressure on it.

And the small vise grips....:)

I had a piece of 8mm suare tool steel to fit the slot . T I then could fit a spanner to it and rotate easily
