Is there any easy way of changing the oil on a renault 19 txe hatch, other than taking off the hard to get to bottom radiator hose to drain it and then filling it through the top bottle, please help.

Hope that's a typo and you're not draining the oil by removing the bottom radiator hose.
The drain plug at the bottom of radiator if there is one?
Otherwise that's pretty much it, no other easier way. The bottom radiator hose is one of the lowest point in the system and so drain thru there, and fill through the top bottle as it is the highest point in the system.
I'm not familiar with Reno 19s but hope this helps.
