price looks high enough, $380 delivered, to possibly make it a reasonably serious tool ? although it doesn't mention the other magic acronym, CAN... but it looks to be/possibly specifically for froggies.

Likely to be more worthwhile than say a $260 Bosch ? or the way cheaper laptop plug-in ?

Garbage. More info please bear in mind that many of us are not expert nor experienced like you. Has it to do with the gadget not being able to activate certain tests and or change some parameters?
