I was led to believe that the ESP on the Clio automatically switches back to "on" when 50kmph is reached. Is this not the case?

Thought it was 30kph .. but there is a perminent defeat.

Nope just the Megane 225 does that.

It amazes me how the culture of being a rally spectator(overseas) is to see how close you can get, even trying to touch the car as it passes. Ive read one account of a team opening the door for a driver after a stage and a finger falling out!
Its a shame that someone came to grief with this incident.
