G'day,

A bit of background info first...
The 505 I just bought was fitted with a Clarion radio out of a 405 by the car dealer. While trying to sort out his dodgy wiring job, I accidently disconnected a lead, resetting the radio display. I didn't realise it needed a pin to get it working again, so I pressed a heap of buttons trying to get the thing to tune. Now the display is full of numbers and I don't know how to clear it to enter the correct pin. I tried disconnecting the wiring hoping that its memory would clear, but the numbers remain.
Can anyone help? I really need music in my pug!

Thanks,
Richard

The normal procedure is to press and hold band button for a few seconds then enter the 4 digit code, it will not work until the correct code is entered, the dealer should have supplied you with this. If this doesn't work there may be someting else wrong with the radio.

I had the same problem !

I took the old radio out of my Mi16 when I upgraded and pulled it out to throw into a 505 late last year and it did the same thing !
