Has anyone had any experience and/or encounters with the new Citroen dealership's service/maintenance department in Canberra ?
I'm just poking around at their level of depth of knowledge and diagnostic know how and general competence before making the phone call..
I expect to be thoroughly disappointed, however am open to the possibility that they may be OK!!

Link above, thanks seasick, outlines my poor experience with the Canberra Citroen dealership. Mark at Scullin was fantastic at diagnosing and fixing my c5. Has a customer, in me, for as long as I have my car.

Haha. The car is so great. Annoyingly it copped a stone chip in the centre of the driver’s side window, which started as a 3cm crack that is growing maybe 1mm per day. Hoping it can be glued or something rather than replaced? Definitely not taking it to the dealership....

Thanks grenouilles,

My C2's ECU is locked so I may phone the dealership to at least get the car's code via its VIN as this is what my Lexia is requiring to unlock it.......maaaayyyybe..

Gday. Former Canberra Citroën Peugeot dealer diagnostic tech here now providing mobile French car repairs for Canberra and surrounds as far as sydney and far south coast n snowy mountains.

also a Citroen c5 specialist and proud passionate owner of many including older pneumatic suspension models.

yes, unfortunately the local dealer is no good. Being approached and asked to work there and choosing to leave months later after witnessing multiple customers being told the wrong thing or scared off by arrogant staff I decided it was best for me to leave and continue with and expand my own Peugeot Citroën specialist and hydractive suspension mobile mechanical repair businesses to provide the French car owners of Canberra and surrounding region with a dealership alternative for the best quality of customer and mechanical repair experience they deserve including courtesy cars When needed.

its a shame majority of Peugeot dealers have gone down hill.

Tim I think you should be cloned !
Since the departure of DS Motors in Brisbane many here have felt .. well .. alone in the desert. These were small local operators who amassed a great following.

You are worth your weight in gold, I'm sure you will have a great following. There certainly is a need for your service. cheers Dave ( I won't be a customer as 1000klm is a bit far for me to travel, but, maybe if I'm passing through.)

Hey Tim, I'm at Tuross Head with a newly aquired DS5. Do you come down this far. Will understand if you group work together to make the trip worthwhile.

Damn, wish I'd known you were there when I was trying to diagnose the Megane. Took it to three shops around Canberra (including that idiot at Alpine motors...) and many of them claimed they knew the problem and all took my money and they were all dead wrong. I eventually worked it out myself...

I am surprised no one mentioned there was a frog specialist in town and you didnt come up in all the googling i did!
