1991 Citroen AX GT project. Need to clear out space for a newly acquired frog project. Open to offers, will get the ball rolling at $1500
Had this for 6 years but ended up rebuilding my other AX into 16V instead. Partially dismantled, has had some front end damage on passenger side, minor rust in a couple of spots. Not many left from the 30 or so imported - hopefully someone wants to get it back on the road.
Includes a shed full of parts and all the stock parks from my 16V build. Panels, exterior plastics, engines, gearboxes, front struts, control arms, springs, box full of ECUs, injection systems, sensors, radiators, fans, instrument clusters, maybe a dozen of the unique 3 stud wheels. The A/C system is all there. Also have a carb intake manifold, because the injection sucks at the best of times.
The bad bit - no dash. Aussie sunshine > French plastic and they crumble into dust. Options are limited as they don’t exist in the wild. Includes most of a shell that I started to make into a mould and a rebuilt front fascia. I started again and built another from scratch for my 16v car. Dash harness was burned by a wiring short. Box full of connectors, pigtails etc to splice one back together.
Car and larger parts are stored in Toowoomba, the rest is at my place in Brisbane. It's on its wheels and rolling but will need to be towed.
Cheers, Eden
