The Philips player in the Xantia has a security mechanical lock out that has been tripped. I have the security code but there is no display. Does anyone Know how to re-commission the player?

Hi ,
If it is a security lock , You should have " CODE ' or " SAFE " od display .
1. Check if there is a small button ( almost obscure ) on front panel of player , or under the pront panel ( if it is detachable ) , to RESET the player .
2. Check the fuse box . ( there are two " + " that comes in player ) .
3. Take out the player and see if there is a fuse on rear side of player ( by the connectors ) .
