Thought I might start single thread to collate my Pugs in one place so as not to flood forums, the 205 project will stay in its own for now but once the major work is done will continue in here.
Im Based in South-east Vic, thats where they all live, i'll start by year ascending -
1 - 1964 Peugeot 404 Sedan, Bought out of Horshom in April 17' Barn-find deal, I believe the first and only previous owner to be Ivan Pearson, a Tractor and agricultural spares dealer and Mechanic.
Engine was sized and head corroded under the valve seats in Cylinder 1.
This will be a mechanical revamp, in an attempt to keep it original and stock, body will be sealed and rust proofed but not refinished, 404 original rat -

2 - 1988 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9
This car has been around the place, The second owner being Jeff I.E pgti6 here on AF Bought it from the original owner @ 87,000km gave it some love, notably a disk rear end, then in 2000ish to Doug, also AF member, who fitted a latter DKZ engine and auto box, then Briefly in the hands of Graham W, whom i picked it up from, in the finishing stages of a complete and extensive rebuild as a targa/hillclimb/weekender.
Cage, J4RS, ITBs, LSD, Billstins, Brembos, Re-spray Ect more if interested here - http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/peugeot-forum/122535-205-update.html
3 - 1992 Peugeot 505 GTI familiale
Swapped a 306GTI6 for this wagon from a fella out of Canbrah, it had a great body and good paintwork, the interior is pretty good also, up around 300,000ks on the 2.2 petrol with an auto box. When I did the deal, the previous owner did the timing belt and a service, on the way to the meeting point in Albury, he called and told me that it had stumbled a couple of times on the way down, thinking nothing of it i went ahead, a month later the timing belt went and mash mash mash...
Attempted to sell it of to deal with my overwhelming disappointment, luckily nobody stepped up, even for as little as $750...I have stashed it away for the time being, however it is just about to come out of hibernation and Visit Bill H for a new force induction breath of life, much, much more to come on this car...
4 - 1993 Peugeot Sr2 405 SRI
Picked this one up very, very cheap through a online auction, with rego and 190k on the clock for a kick around car, and for clubsport stuff, it's great, a few front end bushes and its a rocking car, the 5 speed can be a little notchy, will give it a good service and some new trans oil and continue throwing it around for a while.
5 - 1998 Peugeot 306 GTI6
This is my 3rd GTI6, and forth 306, Bought through AF also, originally for a friend as I had my on identical car, though, not as good in some areas, This car has 200k, and is quite neat, I poly bushed the front end and put a pod filter on it for a giggle, the interior is impeccable, the gear knob is solidly in one piece, and the bolsters are 100% intact! The engine pulls very well, and sounds fantastic with the induction, and small hole in the rear muffler , in two minds about what to do with it, though leaning toward keeping a hold on it, finishing off some body work, due for a timing belt too, will put a bush kit in the shifter. Every time i drive it i fear for my licence....
Thats it....for now :roflmao:
