Little bit of research shows that Boot Camp and windows XP downloads can make a MAC a virtual Windows PC.

Blufires has worked out a VMware based arrangement that allows a Diagbox 5.57 install that will work on a modern PC based system running Windows 7, 8, 10 with 32bit or 64bit Windows system. All you need then is one of the PSA interface boxes that you can buy on ebay that is guaranteed to work with Diagbox.
The process is to install VMWare on the computer and then you download a vmware image file that has a 32 bit Windows XP SP3 with Diagbox already installed that you load into the VMware system. You have to make sure you have no internet connection and you may need to resize the windows XP screen to fit your display when you run Diagbox but it is the most pain free way to get a system up and running.
