Hi Everyone,

My father has managed to get his hands on a technical video about the C5 from a Citroen mechanic in the UK that just visited him while out here on holidays.

I haven't watched it yet, but apparantly it details how the suspension works, it's considerably different to previous hydraulic models. Mel Carey has requested a copy, and I guess Dave will want a copy, any other C5 owners out there want one??? Covers things like how to tell the computer you've added new spheres, tell the computer how to release the suspension pressure to work on the hydraulics etc... Like I said this is no longer mechanical but computer controlled now (there's no height correctors).

Yes Shane, wouldn't mind a copy, your father called in yesterday,he didn't stay long, he was looking for a L15 gearbox, we wrecked one a few years ago he was hoping the gearbox might be still around, no luck.

David.

Shane,

Wouldn't mind a copy or at least a loan of one just out of curiosity.
Do us a favour though; don't wait until I can afford to buy one (a C-5) before you send it :p :p
BTW, any chance of that BX 16V info? I've got a pile of bits coming over from UK so that I can basically put the valver back to as new condition as things aren't worn as much as "old" so hopefully this will mean "Hello 7 grand" on the tacho & "goodbye stress attacks" everytime I do it

Alan,

mate don't worry, I'll sent that stuff off..... eventualy <img src="graemlins/tongue.gif" border="0" alt="[Tongue]" /> <img src="graemlins/evil.gif" border="0" alt="[Evil]" /> :p :D

Your not the only person waiting on me, I think most people give up on stuff turning up, then suddenly it's there just when there've given up all hope :D

Hi all,

well I've watched a few of the bulletins (not all of them by any stretch of the imagination). There's a full 3hours worth there. This is actualy a training video for Citroen trained mechanics.

It's actualy not just on the C5, it covers multiplexing on most Citroens, diesels, hdi, turbo's with balancing shafts etc... They cover XM's Xantias, berlingos, picasso's, C5 etc. The C5 hydraulics of course are also covered.

No I haven't watched it all. It's very interesting and eventualy boring & some of it's very technical. It's also impossible imformation to do without if your working on any of the vehicles in question. eek! eek!

I'll explain technical, I watched the multiplexing bulletin, it made sense to me as I have a diploma in electronics & a degree in computing. I'd never have a chance of fixing multiplexing without it. I reckon most poeple with no electronics/computing background will find it, um, 'challanging'.  Just the technical jargon used'll be hard. I've got Alan, Mel, and Dave down for a copy, anyone else after one??

seeya,
Shane L.
