This ‘de luxe’ version of the 2CV (designed by the last of the Panhard designers absorbed by Citroen) emigrated from the U.K. many years ago.
In the last decade it has been fitted with the larger 602 cubic centimetre engine and inboard disc brake transmission. Body and chassis refurbished at that time and resprayed from the original red to the very attractive Jaune Rialto and the seats recovered. New folding roof and shade mesh from the U.K. fitted about 4 years ago and these remain in excellent condition. Also fitted with an oil temperature gauge and clock, plus radio/CD/bluetooth unit. Correctly maintained by me over the past 7 years of ownership.
Currently there are some paint cracks, rust spots on the bonnet and one door edge, small dent/scrape to a rear mudguard. The floor and chassis are good.
Reliable & runs strongly, odometer reads 73,000 km. Michelin tyres are good, front pair replaced about 3,000 km. ago. Full registration to April 3rd.
