Building a Valiant Trek/Rally Ute

Comments and assistance invited for the building of a VC V8 Ute to be modified for Classic Rally and Trek/Bash use. It needs: Ave body shell without structural rust, crappy interior (Replacing seats etc), 318 (or 360), auto or man, diff (probably replace), BIG brakes (suggestions) Stiffer and higher suspension (for wheel travel). The rest is 3rd party stuff.
Tips on Sydney parts suppliers, sydney val specialists. Any assistance would be appreciated.

your most likely (and mine, haven driven these things..) response on this forum is too put a stick gelignite under it and buy a real car.

Well, if the guy isn't put off by all this negative stuff...

e.mail bensimpson@racingphoenix.com and he'll steer you in the right direction... all the front suspension of later models with disc brakes and all go straight in, he's got a big diff housing you could use, lots of stuff.
