Belated news-Joginder Singh the star of East African Safari passed away 20th Oct 2013

Just found out from a Kenyan friend,Sad to hear the much liked and legendary Rally driver Joginder Singh's passing.He first won the 1965 Safari driving a Volvo as privateer,beating the works Mercedes,Citroen teams.
Brilliant carrier; 13 top 10 and only 3 retirements in 22 years of racing.Rip

I remember his exploits from watching film footage in the sixties and seventies. His 1965 hundred minute winning margin for the Safari still stands as a record!
