As everyone knows, none of the British cars will work if it is raining.

yes still on, unless the sky falls in and snow descends from the hills,

forecast is a tropical 7 degrees and only 2mm of that rare item called rain

bring your Beret in your French car and beat the Brits by numbers.

Thanks to the organisers for, well, organising it, and arranging for there to be no rain, little wind, and the temp to reach a balmy 6 degrees - and stay there.

Well done to the blue 404 cab (that is cabriolet, not taxi-cab) that got the Mayor's choice of French car.

With art repeating history, the Brits won again on the day, 47 to 36.
