Auto locksmith to rekey Pug door -Melbourne

Hi All,

Someone confused their screwdriver for a car door key and have mangled the driver door lock of my car. Luckily they did not get in and cause more damage.

I've sourced a lock from the wreckers with the hope of getting it rekeyed to match the other doors. Seems that this is more difficult than thought as the locksmiths I've tried don't have the appropriate pinning kit to complete he job.

Does the Aussiefrog community have any suggestions for a Melbourne locksmith?

I've only been there once, and for a Ford, not a Peugeot, but you could try John Barnes on Elizabeth St. They are very close to the Peugeot service centre, and are likely to have dealt with a few.

I contacted John Barnes and they can rekey for $55-$65.
