Hello, after changing my starter motor on my S16, they now car starts, runs then dies, which led me to think fuel pump not going.

Sure enough no power getting to pump. Gave it some power to check it's still ok. All good.

Check fuses. All good.

Dual relay not clicking when ignition on. Could the relay have died at the same time as the starter? Seems unlikely, but I cut off the top to examine the internals, nothing burnt or corroded that I could see. Can activate each relay by applying power to recommended pins.

So, have I broken some wiring replacing the starter? Or is the relay not working properly?

Can someone please provide me the following:

with the ignition on-

What pins on the relay socket should have power?

What other relays should click on in the engine bay?

Which fuses in there should be getting power?

There is no keypad on mine, I've read there was no key transponder fitted till '97, is that absolutely true?

On my C5 I was able to bypass the fuel relay so I could run it until I got a replacement, Can I do the same here?

Many thanks,

Leith
