Any recommendations for someone to overhaul the carburettor from my son's Peugeot 505 in Adelaide?

There's a place in Kent Town? Something like that. If they're still in business. Good place, had a few carbs done there.

AFAIK the carby place merged with Kent Town Auto Tune but, alas, I heard recently that the excellent John Hurley has died. Dunno about the outcome regarding the carburettor part of the business.

You can buy a new one from Der Franzose in Germany. You can get the manual choke version MMSA from there as well. Around $500. Would cost about the same for yours to be recoed.

You can tell how long by the "sticker shock" I'm experiencing!
