cut down Abbyy OCR program

I have this one in versions 6 & 9, not bad for "freebies", 9 also includes a very handy screen reader. However, the OCR included with the sort-of-freeware PDFxchange viewer and it's editor version seem to be just as good as Abbyy - they all make errors which are hard to correct, the penalty we incur by refusing to pay for this stuff....
The PDFxchange offerings are also available in portable versions.

I can understand the frustrations with ES2, the original was written with total scan control in mind, ES2 looks to have taken control of most of the process.
Uninstall it and try the original - with 32 bit drivers though otherwise it'll never find your scanner...
