Cassell’s Dictionary of Slang by Jonathan Green is a massive tome (of some 1,300 pages) and is probably the most thorough record of modern slang in English lexicography.

Thought you'd like that last word after Tuesday night's chat.

Amazing how there is relevance in todays word 'Crib' apart from it's 20 odd other meanings

CRIB ‘a basket-like contrivance for catching salmon’

James would no doubt relate to that.
