The Dauphine is very nice. I see a lot of the cars (Dauphs) in Brazil have the full bling trim on them. The only time I saw that in Africa, was a French one imported (LHD).

I would like to see it in 2 tone green or blue.

Bah hah hah, didn't you realise ya silly bugger?
By the way, thanks for pointing that out. I only realised when you pointed it out! :D
Now its obvious, looking at the guard lip profile and windows etc as you say. Damn good model hey?

wait a minute, I thought those windscreens looked a little odd. It's a plastic model FFS!

I had not really realised that the Dauphine came in a glass reinforced polyester monocoque model variant. I imagine that the minor variations that you cite were motivated by careful calculations of stress paths in the GRP shell.

No wonder it's looking so pristine compared to the rot-me-quick unprotected thin steel ones. I always thought that Lotus gave up too early on the Elite.

cheers! Peter

Photo appears as if it was taken in the Renault Classic Workshop yard looking towards the Flins factory. I would love a car like that.
