508 GT impressions at 4-months ownership

That's good, but have you compared the computer to actual? I have found on my Merc B 200 that it's optimistic by ~0.4 L/100 km.

I’ve found the 1.6T to be ridiculously efficient.

For another comparison, even the pretty highly tuned 200kw 1.6 in the 308 GTi with a manual driven not even remotely economically averages about 7 around town and 6 or below on the highway. Drove over Brown Mountain on the weekend from Canberra - averaged 5.9. Total for the last 10,000k is 6.7.

Slightly off topic in that this refers to my 2.2 Diesel 508 GT, but this is the consumption I got Melbourne to Esperance WA.
Very underrated car I reckon.

Agree.
My 'town' driving averages around 8 l/100km.
If i run up to Bris or the Gold Coast, i'll see about 5l/100km.
The best part is if i run up the coast, leaving with 300km until refill, by the time i get back, it's 500-600km before visiting the bowser.

The GT just keeps giving
