GRRR The heater control slide on 505GR has no effect on fan speed ,

fan is going full bore when ignition turned on ??

can anyone suggest why please?

the switch board seems ok
 
Transistor has gone short. Transistor pack is located in the engine bay, between the fan and the strut tower. You can by replacements at Jaycar, and just solder them in.

the boys at Jaycar were rather lost
