505 manual gearbox identification

Hi

I'm looking for a 505 manual gearbox to fit my father's 504Ti Familiale. My understanding (which I may have wrong) is that we need a BA7/5 'box. I have found a 1988 505SR. Would/should this have a BA7/5 or BA10 gearbox? I don't want to drag this thing halfway across New Zealand for the wrong gearbox.

Look at the back of the gearbox. BA7/5 has a plastic plug about 30mm in diameter on it, whereas the BA10/5 has a similarly sized triangular plate held on with three bolts.

SR usually 7/5 if original I believe.
Also speedo 10/5 0n left
7/5 on the right
