Hey! there in the housing you have the resistor! you can replace the bulb (thermoswitch) by a 88-83 / 92-88 or similar, to command low speed, which consumes less power, is less audible, and so on. If necessary, the 2nd speed will kick in when reached the higher level.

I know what you're saying. The 2 stage thermoswitch is a bit difficult to find, we have 82-68, 90-80 and 92-92 which are usually obtained via Fiat dealers.

the last one sounds a little odd to me... is it the famous "moebius switch? :p

Anyway... you can use the 405 (3way bosch-type connector) that is also in available in 95-90 / 100-95 and 90-85 / 95-90.

Is it true that is so difficult to find? Dual thermoswitches are one of the most common things... can find any type... the thread is practically same in all cars, just need to look for the operating temp (I suggest 92-88 / 97-92, but this needs to have the circuit in perfect conditions, If not, 88-83 / 92-88)
