Part number for 1979 504 front brake pads ?
Not necessarily OE. PBR or similar will do. Suppliers name would help.
Ta.

HT Holden, XU1 pads will fit, just a slight drill out of holes required.

Ya don't know what you've got!!!
Found a set of brand new front pads in a job lot that came with my 504.
Thanks everyone.

Now for a set of rears. My parts book shows identical part numbers for front and rear ?
Can't be because of guide on rear pads only for engagement with piston.* I wonder if 'friend' will return my special rear brake piston rotating tool. Loaned to him about 17 years back!

Awaiting word from my "Deep Throat" for availability of his pad source.:2cents:

Yes, different. Early pads pre 1972 with the straight sides can be substituted with 180b, Honda Civic 1500 or Mk1 Escort pads. The later ones (nearly all) have to be proper Peugeot ones. I have a few sets of genuine Peugeot early pads if anyone is interested.
