504 Dual Cab Ute

I remember a cut down 403 wagon to give a small ute back. A grey car, used to park at a business in Heidelberg Rd about 1968.
The problem with electrophoresis failing was a short term one, 1970, no buyers lost on it because Renault offered generous above valuation trade ins. As I've put elsewhere I met the technologist Dulux sent to diagnose the problem which was no more than not turning the drying oven off during the 7 minute morning tea break. Enough to make the paint in the box sections peel. Only did it to one car a day.

A white one is at the Peugeot museum in Sochaux

It was made by YMC Assembly Co Ltd in Thaland from French components. Diesel engine; 70 hp; 4 speed transmission; Max speed 135 km/h
