This beautifil piece of machinery is currently running in Targa Tasmania.

Yep she's in this year...again

Not sure how its goin.

I've seen other pic's of it, and its actually in pretty good condition.

I haven't seen it in Targa before, and I usually see all the cars, as I am a volunteer official for Targa.
There was a nice Alpine V6 in it a couple of years ago, and a 504 used to compete regularly.

Thats right, this is the first Targa the've run, The car was only finished in time for the Classic Adelaide last year, and then they ran the Rally of Tasmaia and now Targa, so we'll all be watching how they go.

Ok correct me if im wrong, that pictured R5 is a series1 meaning first edition 1.3 Turbo, RWD, is that right?

Yes, it's a 1981 turbo, RWD, nominal capacity of 1397cc. Sadly, it did not finish.
I have not been able to get the results of any of the frogs in Targa, as the full list has not yet been released.
