I need to do some from end work with the car on a stand. OK, so I use the designated spot to locate my jack to lift the car, but am not sure where I can then place the stand - is there a second 'strong point' available for the stand?
 
Where the front suspension cross member is mounted to the body.

You can slip a stand in from in front of the jack.
