407 clutch

I have posted this up here in the past ,a trick i use is to get a couple of long bolts the thread size of the gearbox retaining bolts but long ,from the nut and bolt place ,once you have the box up and in positon hight wise ,install these bolts i place of the top two retaining bolts ,provided the clutch is lined up with the flywheel ,the gearbox is supported by these bolts and is easier to wriggle in ,a long bolt that is a snug fit in the flywheel bearing ,with some electrical tape wrapped around it till it is a tight fit on the clutch spline ,can make a half pie aligning too
but you have to be holding your mouth right ,those long support bolts ,take out one variable ,at least ,pugs
