What's the go with swapping sunroofs in my 406 coupe ?
Mine is faulty and I'm looking at buying a s/h one instead of going to a repairer.
I realise roof lining has to come off.

It won't close on one side.
Any horror stories I may need to consider. ??

The roof lining is unlike other cars, and is difficult to re-do.

Yes it's a pain but how else can it be fixed without doing it ?

Just be aware that most of the 406 Coupes in Australia have aftermarket sunroofs, not factory ones.

The factory price for a sunroof was much higher than the cost of the dealers getting them fitted locally aftermarket but wired into factory switches, so that's what they did, and pocketed the difference.

I'm not saying there aren't any here, but 90%+ are aftermarket.

So if you're hunting for parts, just be aware of what you need.

I do have a complete, brand new sunroof for a 406 somewhere. But it would only fit into the factory 'hole' in the roof.
 
What would you want for the sunroof

And do you have measurements for the roof hole so I can measure mine.
