A 405 owner was discussing the replacement windscreen that was fitted in NZ.
He said the curve is not the same as the original. It doesn't follow the same curve as the frame and makes it sit high.
The glass supplier said it was Chinese sourced and that they had trouble with the former sagging which has created a run of bad screens.
Has anyone encountered these in Australia?
His current idea is to order one from St Gobain in France, but the expense is holding him back.
Can anyone suggest a supplier on that side of the Tasman who can provide a good quality screen?
