We discovered this on our 1995 Mobil 1 Round Australia car. Also reduced the steering lock.

Been a while since I tinkered with my 203 since I moved international.... But when I built my 203 as a daily driver with my dad the first upgrades was the brakes.

Though no doubt difficult to find parts now I believe we used 504 hubs with 605 ventilated discs and under guard booster. Had a custom brake master cylinder made with larger diameter as well.

Will see if dad recalls exactly but he's slowly forgetting a lot of his Peugeot knowledge now

I like the idea of 504 hubs, are they 4 or 5 stud?
Plus how available are they?

4 stud sedan spares are pretty easy to find , 5 stud hubs on 504 ute but rare .
4 stud rear axles will be your problem, have seen it done a couple of times , ask Richard Marken in Qld club
