Hi all, I have a Peugeot 4007 (yep, I know it's a Mitsubishi Outlander :) ). The car has been sitting for a while as I was away. I went to start the car, and it cranks over but won't start. I have replaced the battery, purchased a code reader, and the only fault that has come up is the P1351 and the yellow Check engine light . By doing some search thoughts out there is the car could be in ant theft mode for some reason Any ideas? Thanks."

P1351 is the glow plug relay. Virtually every HDI engine has it, all the time. It isn't your problem.

i presume the key ,fob has a goood battery ,my wife has just baught a 4008 ,the previouse owner showed us a little shelf in the top of the glovebox were you put the keys if it wont start ,her car has keyless entry ,just press a button to start ,maybe your key isnt connecting via wifi ? check your owners manual .

4007 2.2s suffer from fuel leak back if sat for a long time and the really struggle to pull it back up I’ve seen starters die trying to get them going maybe removing the filter and filing it with diesel would help.

I can't remember exactly what, but I reckon the GP relay runs something else important. Which did prevent starting and was fixed when I swapped it. Silly I know. Ages ago.. Cheers, Jon

looks like the anti theft immobiliser might have kicked in as somebody lets say I dont know has tried to start the car not sure what do do now
