308 t9 no sound

My 308 T9 some times wakes up with no audio either from the radio or bluetooth connected phone. Restarting the ignition does nothing, but I found by re-booting the touch screen (press and hold car symbol on left side menu) fixes the problem. However it is getting worse as it seems to be happening every 2nd or 3rd trip now and is getting a tad annoying.

The firmware revision is SMEG5.1.FR4 CD 75583 21.2.14.

Anyone else seen this problem? Is there a fix? Firmware update etc?

Yep go to a dealer and get it updated to 5.3

I had this problem when the battery was on the way out.

Yep, ours did this recently given much less driving (COVID). I’d guess it’s battery related too.
