Hey gang,

Hope all's well in Pugland.

Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice into the complexity of changing the clutch on my 2001 306 XSi.

Pedal's getting a bit heavy and high and occasionally crunches going into 4th gear from neutral.

I've seen clutch kits online for around $300 and considering whether it's a job a can tackle at home (with a very competent friend).

Penny for thoughts?

Cheers,

Jase

Fairly straight forward. Grab yourself a haynes manual and read through what to do. Its not that difficult just takes time as you do need to remove a few things to get the box off the engine. Once your in there the clutch change is relatively easy. You will need to have the flywheel machined so budget for that in $ and time. Its also good practice to change diff seals while your there and even the main oil seal for future proofing it. All in all the time, if your friend is helping, should be around 8 hours give or take.

There are guides on the net also. Google is ur friend.
