How many headlights should an S16 have? This morning, in Canberra, I saw a grey S16 with 4 headlights! Anyone on this list own the car in question?

I think I know where you are coming from, they have just the single essembly on each side, including park, driving, highbeam and indicator. Then there are the fog lights on the bottom of the front bar.

It could also have Morrette Quad headlight conversion, which is readily available from the UK. Not cheap though. - chris

Most likely had the headlight conversion.

Just on s16 a pug dealer told me that there is only about 400 s16 in Australia.

that goes a lot closer to what i have been saying for quite a while
i had heard figures in the hundreds for the amount of S16's that were in the country
there are about the same amount of S16's sold here as there were GTi-6's sold

i remember when the GTi-6 hit the market there were many many S16's in the paper and the dealers seemed to have quite a few sitting there that had been traded on the GTi-6
