I've got a 306XSI with 16mm ball joints and I'm looking to change to the 18mm ball joints and hubs to gain a bit more camber from the longer lower ball joint. Has anyone else done this change and if so roughly how much extra camber can I expect or is it not worth the time?

I'm not an expert on this. But I'd think since all the really late 306 had the 18mm ball joints. With the same arms and apart from the hole in the bottom of the hub, the same hubs. I wouldn't think anything at all would be gained. Would be exactly the same but with larger ball joints

I also can't see how you gain any increase in camber. It's only the increase in diameter that changes, not the centreline position. Early 306 diesels also had 18mm ball joints. Better to concentrate on moving the top to increase the caster.
