Had the windscreen on my 208GTI replaced about 6 months ago but car is seldom used these days. Giving it a quick drive for the battery when i noticed the rear view mirror was shaking. Took off the plastic cover thinking I could just tighten it up and the mirror was detached from the windscreen. Looks like it is just glued on.
Not sure if this is something easy to fix with the right glue or should I get the windscreen people to do it as I would hope they do it all the time (but do a better job this this time)?
I was surprised it was just glued on as the mirror is fairly heavy. Pic below.
