207 Peugeot new buyer

Windscreen leaks drivers side

We had 60mm of rain, the 207 ended up with a litre of water in driver side foot well. Is this a common issue is there DIY fix or do I have to windscreen resealed. Couldn't see any leaves/dirt where the plastic scuttle is

Take the grille off anyway and look. It should drain to behind the wheel, but can become a compost heap.

Rubber grommet filled with crud has been removed. Tested in monsoon rain over 4 days with no leaks either stationary or wipers at full speed while driving.
Next question car going to Adelaide with daughter to Flinders University can anyone recommend a peugeot mechanic (not a dealership) who won't rip her off if mechanical work is required.

From memory, Charles St Auto Repairs seems to get a mention a lot.

Hopefully an Adelaide/SA person can confirm or deny :)

Daughter now in Alice Springs working for NT Gov - the rear left tail light cluster is displaying a fault and indicator, tail, hazard, brake, reserve lights are not working. Thinking there is an earth issue as fault flashes dash display. Is there wiring diagram available or suggestions.

The rear lights in the fitting share a common earth. If all are out check the earth. You could even make a better one. Access is from the boot behind a cover. The unit withdraws from outside and is held by a fixing inside.. Put a towel or rag or the like underneath in case you drop it.

Earthing faults in tail light clusters occur in many makes. You need to pull them out to change globes. There's a Youtube.
