I have the dreaded 2279 intake air leak. I think I have traced it to the membrane valve cover.
I have a new membrane valve, has anyone managed to replace the membrane?
Is it possible to do this without removing the tappet cover? ie remove the membrane from the top, like you can do on Mini? IS it possible to remove the silver square box shown in the photo below?
